Donny van de Beek has not had an easy start to life at Manchester United, with the midfielder struggling for regular minutes. The 23-year-old joined United from Ajax in the summer but he has made just two Premier League starts so far this season.
The likes of Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay, Fred, Paul Pogba and Nemanaja Matic have all featured more regularly than the Dutchman and reports have claimed that he is already looking to leave.
According to a report from 90min.com, United are willing to let the player leave at the end of the season.
The report claims that United are open to using Van de Beek as a makeweight in a bid to sign one of their top targets.
The Red Devils are interested in Borussia Dortmund stars Erling Haaland, Jadon Sancho and Manuel Akanji and the inclusion of Van de Beek in any potential deal could persuade the Bundesliga side to sell.

United are said to have broached the idea to Dortmund, who are interested.
Former United striker Mark Hughes recently claimed that Van de Beek looks “lost” and “hasn’t shown anything like what the level he needs to be at to remain a Man United player”.
Speaking to Stadium Astro after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were knocked out of the FA Cup by Leicester, Hughes said: “Clearly it’s difficult, he hasn’t had enough game time and you can see that in his play.
“He’s wandering and not really getting on the ball, doesn’t know how to affect the game, can’t demand the ball of his team-mates because they’re not quite sure whether or not they have enough confidence in him.

“He looks like a guy who’s wandering around lost on the field. Okay, some of that responsibility he has to take on himself, he has to be more demonstrative, he has to be a key player.
“He’s a big-money signing he’s come from a big club in Ajax so he’s used to being a top player of influence.
“But clearly, since he’s come to United he hasn’t shown anything like what the level he needs to be at to remain a Man United player.
“He can only have so many opportunities, at some point he’s going to have to take them or United will move him on. I think they’re edging towards that decision if he’s not careful.”
Ex-Arsenal striker Ian Wright has questioned why United signed him, saying on his Wrighty’s House podcast: “It’s starting to be sad, unfortunately for him, he must be pulling his hair out.
“He’s come through a youth system and academy of possession football. We saw him [at Ajax] in the Champions League [semi-final last season] against Tottenham, magnificent player.
“You look at him now with Man Utd, who do not play possession football, why did they buy the guy?
“What is he supposed to do? What is he thinking now? I really, really feel for him.”
