Man Utd warned they have "nowhere to hide" as pressure builds on Solskjaer
Manchester United have "nowhere to hide" after crashing out of the Carabao Cup last week, says former Red Devils striker Michael Owen.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer finds himself under pressure at Old Trafford just over a month into the new season, having slumped to three defeats in the past two weeks.
His side were first beaten 2-1 in their opening Champions League group stage outing away at Young Boys, before West Ham got the better of them in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
And to make matters worse, they then suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
United need to return to winning ways in their Champions League clash with Villarreal on Wednesday night, which has become a crucial fixture in Solskjaer's tenure.
Speaking on BT Sport before the game, Owen explained how exiting the Carabao Cup so early this season has left his former side vulnerable.
"I don’t think they're playing too badly," he said.

"If you finish second, then so be it.
