Man Utd unlikely to have any new signings in Brighton starting XI as fans fume

Manchester United fans have been left fuming after reports emerged that the Red Devils will not field any of their new signings against Brighton.

New boss Erik ten Hag has already purchased Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia, and Christian Eriksen this summer. But all three could be snubbed as Ten Hag looks to bring the glory days back to Old Trafford.

According to The Telegraph, Ten Hag's first competitive United side will be a familiar side for Red Devils fans. And United supporters are not happy that the new additions won't be part of Ten Hag's first competitive side.

One fan tweeted: "This 11 starts Sunday you can count me out watching anymore games this season, ETH can’t seriously think that’s his best 11!"

"Just ain't good enough, is it? McFred is hopeless and Maguire and Lindelof are awful together. Get Martinez and Eriksen in. Just attack them," a second added. "I can’t go through the same pain for another season," a third tweeted.

While a fourth added: "Staging a whole rebuild from 2020, 2021 and 2022 only to end up with Rashford and Martial in the starting lineup is just so f****** sad!"
