Man Utd stars joined by WAGs at training ground and may spend night with players

Manchester United stars have been joined by their WAGs at the Carrington training ground on Friday – and they may all spend the night together.

The Red Devils are set to host West Ham in a crunch Premier League clash at Old Trafford this weekend.

Their focus should be on trying to secure the three points which could see them climb into the Champions League places.

However, they have had to alter their pre-match preparations after defender Victor Lindelof had his house burgled during the midweek victory at Brentford.

As such, the squad were accompanied by their partners to training.

According to The Mirror, their families will then stay with them in the hotel where the usually go the night before a home match.

This is a routine they've adopted so they can travel to the stadium together ahead of kick-off.

Lindelof will not be with them, though, as Ralf Rangnick confirmed that the Swede would be taking the weekend off.

"I spoke with him at length on our flight back home from London and also this morning," the United manager said.

"We spoke for 20 or 25 minutes, he told me what actually happened, that this was a traumatic event, especially for his wife and three-year-old son.

"He said to me right now he needs to stay at home, he doesn't want to leave his wife and family on their own, which I can fully understand, being a father of two children myself.

"We agreed he will not be on duty tomorrow for the game."

Maja Nilsson-Lindelof, who had to lock herself and their two children in a room during the break-in, revealed the news on social media on Friday.

She also wrote: "We are okay under the circumstances but it was obviously a very traumatic and scary moment for both me and my little kids.

"We are now in Sweden and are spending some time off with our families."

Jadon Sancho could also be missing for Rangnick after suffering a family bereavement and attending the funeral this week.
