Man Utd star Donny van de Beek ‘eyed by 11 clubs’ as transfer exit moves closer
Ten Hag comments on van de Beek's Man Utd future
Manchester United star Donny van de Beek is wanted by 11 clubs amid uncertainty over his future at Old Trafford, reports say. The Netherlands international joined the club back in the summer transfer window of 2020. However, a parting of ways could now be on the cards with the 26-year-old surplus to requirements.
Manchester United expected big things when they signed Van de Beek from Ajax back in the summer transfer window of 2020.
However, the Netherlands international has failed to make an impact – making just 60 appearances for the club.
Now, according to 90min, United are open to jettisoning Van de Beek as they look to raise extra funds.
The club have already recruited Mason Mount from Chelsea, with the 24-year-old moving in a deal worth an initial £55million.
Andre Onana is poised to follow from Inter Milan in the wake of David De Gea’s emotional departure.

But United know they must sell if they’re to boost their transfer kitty amid interest in the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Harry Kane.
Inter Milan, Roma and AC Milan are all eyeing Van de Beek.
However, the Serie A giants don’t have the United star as a priority and appear to have other players further up their shortlists right now instead.
Celtic are open to bringing Van de Beek to Scotland, though they’d likely struggle to afford the player on a permanent basis.
In the Premier League, Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace are keen on securing Van de Beek’s signature.

Nice and Sevilla are keeping tabs on the midfielder’s situation, too.
And Ajax and Feyenoord are both open to bringing Van de Beek back to his homeland after three years away, too.
The Netherlands international isn’t the only player who may leave United this summer as Ten Hag looks to win the Premier League title next term.
Fellow midfielders Scott McTominay and Fred could be sold, with the latter wanted by Roma and Fulham.
Harry Maguire’s future is uncertain, with the England international falling down Ten Hag’s pecking order last season.
And Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial, as well as Facundo Pellistri and Anthony Elanga, may be shown the door as well.
Meanwhile, addressing Van de Beek’s links to Celtic, Neil Lennon recently talked up a potential deal.
Speaking on Go Radio’s Football Show, Lennon said: “He went to United and it didn’t work out and he went on loan to Everton and that didn’t work out either.
“So he needs a kickstart and maybe Celtic is that place for him.
“He’s certainly shown he’s got the pedigree and you never lose it, you just sometimes lose your confidence or your hunger and lose your way a little bit.
“Players of that calibre just need a restart and maybe he’s thinking Celtic might be that place to go but I mean, there’s a lot of work to be done in a deal involving that.
“He’ll be on huge money, let’s not beat around the bush here.
“Realistically, if you’re talking about (Scott) McTominay, (Kieran) Tierney or van de Beek, it’ll probably be a loan and Celtic making a contribution towards the wages.”
