Man Utd squad pose for team photo – with outcast Jadon Sancho missing from snap

Exiled Jadon Sancho didn’t appear in the recent Manchester United first-team squad photo as his feud with Erik ten Hag rumbles on.

Sancho has been training away from the first-team for the last five weeks after he launched an attack on Ten Hag on social media following his omission from the squad that faced Arsenal in September. Ten Hag later questioned his work ethic in training in the post-match press conference.

The £72million signing was banished from team training by Ten Hag when the squad returned from the international break. His place on the naughty step was further confirmed after he didn’t appear in the squad photoshoot taken at the Carrington training complex.

A video posted to YouTube by the club showed players and Ten Hag arriving for the photo as they posed in tracksuits, training gear and the home shirt.

Injured duo Tyrell Malacia and Amad Diallo, who are yet to feature so far this season, were involved in the shoot as well as forgotten man Donny van de Beek, who is still part of the first-team. Unlike Sancho, he has refrained from publicly calling out Ten Hag, despite his lack of playing time.

Since he was dropped from the first-team, Sancho has been using the academy facilities at Carrington and has to get changed on his own with the door locked due to safeguarding issues at the facility that has under-18s. Ten Hag has also refrained from calling Sancho by name when answering questions about him during press conferences.

It’s understood that Sancho doesn’t have the backing of his team-mates in his feud with the boss after theys urged him to back down from Ten Hag and offer the Dutchman an apology so he can reignite his career at Old Trafford.

But the club are prepared to let the England international leave in January should the matter not be resolved, with Sancho also prepared to move away from Old Trafford if he remains an outcast.
