Man Utd loanee Dean Henderson ‘turned into WWE referee’ after conceding goal

Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson seemingly thought he had been teleported into the wrestling ring after he conceded to Fulham on Friday.

The Nottingham Forest keeper was seen thumping the ground in frustration as he conceded his third of the night, and the goal that made the difference come the final whistle as his side slumped to a 3-2 defeat at home to Fulham.

Despite the number of goals put past the England international, it was his reaction that caught the eye of fans. As he jumped up after the third was hammered past him, he hit out in frustration and whacked the turf as if he were counting a pinfall when officiating a match between the brutes of WWE.

@anandhegde said: "Lol. Some fans actually rated him above DDG! Just another English hype. That rage at the end will get him a gig as a @WWE referee though. Not too late to switch careers."

After conceding three to Fulham the 25-year-old will be contemplating whether or not to go into WWE as Nottingham Forest continue to struggle after their promotion from the Championship and their splurge in the transfer market.

The Reds will feel aggrieved with the result as the home side had a promising start to the match as they took the lead after 11 minutes but the Cottagers weren't for backing down as they managed to score three in the space of six minutes in the second half before Forest got a second 13 minutes from full time.

It'll be worth keeping an eye out for the keeper when WrestleMania comes back around next year.
