Man Utd fans to be given close to a third of Wigan stadium for FA Cup tie
As many as 8,000 Manchester United supporters could be in attendance at the DW Stadium next month.
That is despite Wigan Athletic's stadium only having a capacity of around 25,000 seats. As a result, the FA Cup third round match will almost feel like a home tie for the Red Devils.
League One Wigan were drawn to play Erik ten Hag's Premier League giants, who will make short trip to the DW. The game is being shown live on ITV on Monday, January 8 (8.15pm kick-off).

One Latics fan said: "Shocking way to treat season ticket holders in the East Stand. I've had my seat for 18 years and I'm expected to give it up because Manchester United are coming? I'll watch on TV."
For those United fans not going to the game, they will once again be able to catch the game on TV. It is incredibly the 86th time out of their last 87 FA Cup ties that United have been chosen for broadcast in the UK.
