Man Utd expected line-up vs Southampton with Solskjaer to make Sancho decision
Manchester United are looking to make it two wins from two with a trip to Southampton.
The Red Devils kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 5-1 win against Leeds at Old Trafford, giving £72m signing Jadon Sancho a debut form the bench.
And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping his side can repeat it on the south coast, with Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side losing 3-1 to Everton earlier this month.
The Saints appear to have lost their attacking potency after losing Danny Ings to Aston Villa, hitting just six shots on goal.
It marks an opportunity for the United boss to see what his new attacking star can do against a side that could be low on confidence.
Sancho could take up position on the right side of the attacking midfield, with Bruno Fernandes in the middle and Paul Pogba on the left.
It would mean disappointment for Daniel James as the Welshman would give up his starting position from the Leeds win.
With Marcus Rashford injured and Edinson Cavani on extended leave, Mason Greenwood would get the chance to add to his goal against the Whites last week.

The holding midfielders would remain the same after Scott McTominay and Fred put in impressive displays at Old Trafford.
With David de Gea in goal, Harry Maguire would take up his centre-back partnership with Victor Lindelof again.
While United unveiled new defender Raphael Varane to the fans last weekend, it is believed that five days of training will not be enough time.
Fan favourites Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw would take up their positions at full-back.
A trip to St Mary’s will see United look for a more comfortable three points that those they took from the last visit in November.
Solskjaer’s side were 2-0 down at half-time but Fernandes grabbed an early second-half goal before substitute Cavani hit an equaliser and 90th-minute winner.
