Manchester United have reportedly entered the running to sign Jude Bellingham in the summer transfer window, joining Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid. It follows Borussia Dortmund setting their record-breaking asking price for the 19-year-old superstar, who is expected to soon decide on his destination.
According to The Telegraph, United have registered their interest in joining the bidding for Bellingham this summer.
Dortmund want to keep the England international at the club for at least another season but have set their asking price at £110million.
If United, Liverpool or Man City want to beat Real to his signature this year, they will have to break the British-record £107m fee Chelsea paid for Enzo Fernandez in January.
The report adds that the Blues haven’t ruled themselves out of the race but accept they are outsiders.
Talks are said to be ‘intensifying’ over Bellingham’s future, and he is expected to make a decision about his preferred destination before the end of April.

It’s claimed that Erik ten Hag is a huge admirer of Bellingham and considers him a potential future captain at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman is also keen to bolster his midfield again after recruiting Casemiro and Christian Eriksen and loaning Marcel Sabitzer in his first seven months as manager.
However, the report states that Ten Hag’s clear priority remains to be a top-class striker, with Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen among his preferred options.
And finances could be tight this summer after United splashed over £200m in his first transfer window at the helm.

The Red Devils may have to raise funds by selling numerous first-team players if Ten Hag is to strengthen his attack and midfield.
With Kane and Osimhen expected to demand a similar fee to Bellingham, it would likely be the case of one or the other.
Such an issue lingers doubt over whether United are genuine contenders to sign the teenage sensation this summer, but the interest has been lodged.
Qualifying for the Champions League and perhaps lifting another trophy this season would certainly help Ten Hag’s case.
