Astrid Wett trolls Liverpool but joke backfires on Chelsea supporting porn star

Astrid Wett’s attempt of mocking Liverpool spectacularly back-fired on social media.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid after losing 6-2 on aggregate. The Merseysiders left themselves with a huge mountain to climb after losing 5-2 at home to the reigning European champions.

But after their exit, Wett, a passionate Chelsea fan, took to Twitter to gloat about the Reds’ defeat. Unfortunately, it appears the OnlyFans star has a very short memory, as rival football fans, and some of her fellow Blues, joyfully pointed out to her.

She uploaded a video of herself sipping from a bottle of Champagne while sporting a Chelsea training shirt, alongside the caption “could never be my club”. Unfortunately for her, something very similar did happen to her club, as Chelsea were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid in very similar circumstances.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side ruthlessly dispatched Chelsea in the first leg, courtesy of a Karim Benzema hattrick at Stamford Bridge, securing a 3-1 away victory. While Chelsea did roar back at the Bernabeu by taking a 3-0 lead, Rodrigo came off the bench to level the tie on aggregate, before Benzema headed home a winner in extra-time.

While the circumstances were marginally different, Wett’s social media followers were not ready to give her the benefit of the doubt. “You literally got eliminated by them last year lol,” one fan posted on social media.

“Seems as if someone’s got a short memory,” another added. “It quite literally was your club,” somebody else gleefully pointed out.

“It literally was last season,” laughed another rival supporter, before a Chelsea fan said, “Erm we as Chelsea can learn a lot from LFC with trophies. Hate to say that and they're above us in the EPL… This post is cringe.”

Fortunately for Wett, Chelsea secured themselves a place in the quarter-final by overcoming Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at Stamford Bridge. If Graham Potter’s side are to shock the continent by winning Europe’s elite competition again, then Wett will be able to sip on another bottle of Champagne, without supporters mocking her.
