Man Utd chasing "great talent" Sulemana as youth transfer focus continues

Manchester United are reportedly chasing a move for FC Nordsjælland winger Kamaldeen Sulemana as their youth focus in the transfer market continues.

Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge at Old Trafford, United have focused on bringing in some of the best young talent in the world, with the signing of Amad Diallo highlighting the new philosophy.

Now, they appear to have turned their eye to Sulemana, who has impressed for Danish Superliga side Nordsjælland this term.

The 19-year-old has made 26 appearances in the Danish top-flight, scoring 10 goals and notching six assists to help his side into the play-offs.

His performances have attracted the eye of United, with Tipsbladet reporting that the Red Devils are eyeing a summer move for Sulemana.

In a boost to United’s hopes of signing him, the Ghanian is understood to be keen to move to a big club.

But they do face competition to sign the youngster, with De Telegraaf stating that Ajax have also joined the chase for Sulemana.

It is claimed they have already held talks with the winger, with director of football Marc Overmars recently personally scouting him.

While the saga over where Sulemana will move to this summer continues, the winger has also been hailed by his opponents in the Super Liga.

Kevin Diks has faced Sulemana and Nordsjælland three times this season for AGF, with both players starting all three games.

Sulemana has scored twice in those three clashes, with his side yet to be defeated by AGF.

He has mainly lined up as a left winger in Flemming Pedersen’s side, with Diks facing him from right-back.
