Man Utd boss Ten Hag has just three undroppables and Rashford not one of them
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag reviews the West Ham game
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has been told that he has just three players “he can count on” for the remainder of the season as they look to fend off Liverpool and finish in the top four. However, Marcus Rashford does not feature in those three undroppables as he has been warned that Ten Hag could drop their talisman.
Rashford is already a major doubt for the visit of Wolves on Saturday, as Ten Hag confirmed that a leg injury could see him miss out. Meanwhile, former United and Chelsea defender Paul Parker believes that there are just three players that Ten Hag can count on for the remaining three Premier League games and they do not include Rashford.
“Erik ten Hag has definitely overachieved and everything that he can do now is… To hope, actually,” Parker told indiabetting. “Hope that the players he can count on will perform in the next games, and here I’m talking about Casemiro, [Christian] Eriksen and [Victor] Lindelof.
“Maybe he needs to get some younger players into the team because they are hungry and want to win something despite their lack of experience. If that happens, Man United should get 12 points in the last four games, otherwise this season will end up as an embarrassment for the players.”

Parker has warned Rashford that injury-aside, he should be facing the prospect of being dropped by Ten Hag having scored just one goal in his last seven matches as Parker believes three of his team-mates will be frustrated with the England man’s recent displays.
“It’s time to talk about whether Marcus Rashford deserves to be in the starting lineup,” Parker added to BonusCodeBets. “We can no longer avoid that conversation. His goals have dried up and scoring goals is his biggest strength. Is he really looking like a player who is going to score a goal? I think we have to say no.

“Is he creating anything? No. Is he really affecting other teams? I think the answer is no to be perfectly honest. He wasn’t there against Brighton or West Ham.
“He has strengths but he doesn’t want to use them. His strength is to run in behind and take on players, beat opponents and he is not doing that. He can’t play in the middle and the manager knows that.
“He needs to interact more with his teammates. He is not making them better and all the other players like Antony, [Jadon] Sancho and [Wout] Weghorst must think inside of themselves: Why is Rashford staying on when he in fact should be the one subbed off?”
