Marcus Rashford received an X-rated instruction from the Manchester United bench in last night's Europa League final defeat to Villarreal.
The Red Devils' forward enjoyed a frustrating evening in Gdansk and was unable to get on the scoresheet for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
United could not find winning goal inside 90 minutes or in extra-time to prevent the match from going to a penalty shootout, despite their best efforts.
As the team pushed to find a way past the stubborn Villarreal defence towards the end of regular time, third-choice United keeper Lee Grant could be heard barking instructions to Rashford to target defender Juan Foyth.
“Rashy! Look at him! F*****!”
The Argentinian centre-back was seen laughing after Grant's message and was substituted minutes later by manager Unai Emery.
Rashford remained on the pitch for the full 120 minutes of action and converted his penalty in the shooutout – but it was not enough on the night to come out on top.
Speaking after the game, the 23-year-old backed United to come back stronger from this setback and insisted that the club have all they need to 'compete at the highest level.'
"It's disappointing. The feeling inside is difficult to explain. At the end of the day we came here to win," Rashford told BT Sport.
"We've been working so hard all season and this was the opportunity to win a trophy and it didn't happen for whatever reasons.
"We have to get rid of the disappointment and after that look back at the game and see what we did wrong, where we can improve. The team will not give up – there's no chance the team gives up. The manager won't allow us to give up.
"We will come next season with a bigger desire. The club, Manchester United. People say a lot about Manchester United, 'They're going downhill', blah, blah, blah, blah.
"But for me, the club, the desire, the hunger, the talent, the ability, the squad, we have everything to compete at the highest level."
