Man Utd and Chelsea plot two deals each as Liverpool get £60m boost
The January transfer window is rapidly approaching, with many Premier League clubs expected to try and use the winter market to their advantage. The likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool will be out to improve their squads when the bidding opens next month as they ramp up their preparations for the business end of the campaign.
United are said to be chasing a number of leads in advance of the January window as Erik ten Hag seeks reinforcements in attack and defence. Internal talks have reportedly been held over the need to sign a new striker, while discussions with Barcelona over a move for a central defender are thought to be underway.
Chelsea have also been tipped to sign players next month and could reportedly delve into the Brazilian market in their efforts to hoover up the world’s best young talent. Liverpool, meanwhile, are said to be interested in Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha but the Cottagers are thought to be valuing their prized asset at around £60million.
