Man City fans spot De Bruyne’s X-rated reaction to being told to do an interview
Kevin de Bruyne opened the scoring for Manchester City in their five-goal title party against Everton on Sunday – but his joy quickly turned to frustration after the game.
City romped home to a third Premier League title in four years this season, with Manchester United's defeat at home to Leicester earlier this month confirming them as champions.
As a result, Sunday's final outing of the campaign at home to Everton was simply a title party at the Etihad, and Pep Guardiola's men signed off on a high.
De Bruyne broke the deadlock after 11 minutes, before goals from Gabriel Jesus and Phil Foden, along with a Sergio Aguero brace, sealed a 5-0 thrashing.
It's been another marvellous season for De Bruyne, who currently boasts a tally of 10 goals and 18 assists in all competitions for City.
The Belgium midfielder has now got his hands on three Premier League titles since returning to England in 2015, along with five League Cups and one FA Cup.
But when celebrating his latest title success at the Etihad on Sunday, De Bruyne was spotted expressing his frustration after being informed he was required for a media interview.
One eagle-eyed City fan posted a clip of the exchange on Twitter, in which he appears to say to the member of staff: "Oh for f*** sake!"
De Bruyne will now turn his attention to next weekend's Champions League final, where he will meet former club and Premier League colleagues Chelsea in Porto.
When speaking about City's semi-final win over Paris St-Germain, the ex-Blues ace recently told Sky Sports: "I don't necessarily think [it was] relief because the way the game went, especially after the red card, you know you get the feeling there's a big chance you're not going to lose this anymore.
