Luton Town striker James Collins is wanted by Middlesbrough, Cardiff City and Bristol City on a free transfer.
Since joining from Crawley Town in 2017, the 30-year-old Collins has played a significant role in Luton’s rise from League Two to the Championship, consistently scoring goals, notching 72 in 181 appearances, including 10 in 42 league games this season as the Hatters finished the season 12th in their first campaign back in the second tier.
However, the Republic of Ireland international is out of contract and weighing up his options. With budgets tight in the Championship, Collins’ goalscoring record, allied with his free agent status, has put him in demand.
