Liverpool transfer round-up with £10m Ramsey raid on radar
Liverpool could make a move for former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey this summer with Juventus potentially cashing in on the midfielder.
The Reds are set to bolster their options following a difficult season which has seen them surrender their league crown.
Jurgen Klopp is likely to see Georginio Wijnaldum depart Anfield meaning he will be on the look out for new faces in the middle of the park.
Defensive options are also set to be on the agenda after injuries destroyed their backline before the New Year and forced the club into the January market.
Here are the latest transfer rumours coming out of Anfield
Klopp eyes £10m-rated Ramsey
Liverpool could land Aaron Ramsey this summer for as little as £10m according to reports in Italy.
The former Arsenal man headed to Juventus in 2019 but has been unable to nail down a regular spot.
Ramsey is pocketing around £120,000-a-week in Turin but the Italians are keen to lower their wage bill.
As a result the Welshman could be offloaded this summer with the Reds among those keen.
According to Tutto Juve, Ramsey is 'on Jurgen Klopp's radar', and could be available for a bargain price.
Juventus are looking to land around £17m for the midfielder, but would be willing to accept as little as £10m.
Ox "delighted" to be a Red
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain admits he isn't sure why he's been overlooked recently but has expressed no desire to move.
There is plenty of competition for places in midfield but the former Gunner is determined to get back in the starting XI.
He told LFC TV : "I’ve felt pretty good for a while now, but for whatever reason it’s not been so easy with opportunities.
"Sometimes that’s part of football, it’s not what you like.
"I’ve been kicking myself, trying to push and ask questions, but sometimes it doesn’t always go your way.
"The main thing is I stay focused. I’m absolutely delighted to be a part of this team and play for this football club, and that’s what I want to do."
Davies still has Anfield role
Ben Davies, a January signing from Preston, is still wanted at Anfield, reports the Athletic.
The centre-half is yet to make his debut under Klopp but has been told he may have a role to play next season.
That is despite the German preferring the squad's other defensive options with more reinforcements potentially being signed this summer.
