Liverpool open to Keita sale, Sauls representatives fly in, Locatelli boost
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is facing a busy few weeks in the transfer market.
The Reds have been linked with a host of top names throughout the window, notably Kylian Mbappe and Saul Niguez, yet Ibrahima Konate remains their only significant arrival.
Klopp has money to spend, but has chosen to keep his powder relatively dry so far.
With one month to go until the transfer window slams shut, that could be about to change as the rumour mill goes into overdrive.
Daily Star Sport have news of three potential deals involving the Anfield club, starting with an update on the future of Naby Keita.
Keita sale
It is no secret that Liverpool are looking to offload several fringe players this summer.
Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlin and Loris Karius could all leave if the right offer arrives.
According to ESPN, midfielder Naby Keita is also among those who are deemed expendable if the price is right.
Keita only made 16 appearances for the Reds last season in a campaign that was interrupted by injury, but it would still be a huge surprise to see him depart Anfield just three years after making a £52million move from RB Leipzig.
Saul's people fly in
Do you think Liverpool should sell Naby Keita this summer Let us know in the comments section.
If one or more of the aforementioned quintet does leave Merseyside, it could pave the way for Saul Niguez to join the club.
According The Mirror, the midfielder's representatives are due to fly to the UK on Sunday with the hope of finalising a deal with either Liverpool or Manchester United.
Atletico Madrid are believed to be after a fee of around £40m for the star who made 41 appearances last season as Diego Simeone's side swept to the La Liga title.
Locatelli boost
Liverpool have also been handed a timely boost in their pursuit of Manuel Locatelli.
Locatelli, 23, impressed with Sassuolo last season and earned even more admirers as Italy won the European Championships.
Juventus had hoped to wrap up a deal for the star, but according to a report from Sky Sport Italia, the Old Lady are unwilling to pay Sassuolo's £34m asking price.
The Serie A giants are understood to be Locatelli's preference but Liverpool could now jump in ahead of them if they can meet the player's valuation.
