Liverpool are pursuing Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports. Pulisic could leave Stamford Bridge searching for regular game time as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster Liverpool’s attacking depth in his bid to lift a second Premier League title in May.
With Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane jetting off for the African Cup of Nations at the end of December, Klopp’s firepower will be dwindling.
It could force Liverpool to become active in January, with attacking players on the club’s radar.
And despite scoring for the Blues at Leicester City on Saturday, Pulisic might not be entirely content.

According to Calciomercato, Pulisic could leave Chelsea in January amid uncertainties over his role under Tuchel.
The German boss may not be able to start Pulisic regularly, which could pose January as a good time to pursue a new challenge.
Most interestingly, the Italian outlet claims Liverpool are ‘on his trail’ as they search for attacking reinforcements in the new year.
Pulisic isn’t the only Chelsea star with whom Liverpool are being linked. The Daily Star report Mason Mount has also grown frustrated at Stamford Bridge and could be ready to part ways with his childhood club.

A source has revealed the reason beind Mount’s current disgruntlement is that he doesn’t feel valued as highly as he should, given his status in the squad.
They said: “Mason is a top lad and thought of well within Chelsea, and is popular with the team.
“But he isn’t feeling appreciated anymore.
“He’s been at Chelsea since he was a tiny lad, but despite coming up through the Academy, he doesn’t feel like he gets the same treatment or recognition as players bought in for big money.
“He is torn because he loves the club and the fans, but thinks it’s time for him to leave to step up his career. And where better to do that than Liverpool?”
Mount himself has previously admitted speaking to Liverpool players about playing for the club and hearing it is ‘unbelievable’.
But there is next to no chance Chelsea would allow the 22-year-old to join Liverpool whilst he’s under contract.
Reports this week also claimed that the Blues have reached a ‘breakthrough’ in talks with Mount over a new contract and are confident he will remain at the club.
