Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard snubbed for new job due to lack of experience
“They said I ‘don’t have any experience’. How do I get experience if I need experience for the job?’" is the rant Steven Gerrard may be repeating to himself over and over again.
The Liverpool legend is still in the process of trying to find another management role having been sacked by Aston Villa in October. Gerrard was given his marching order by the Midlanders after a poor 3-0 away defeat to Fulham.
However, he did emerge as a shock candidate to takeover the reins at the Poland national team. Unfortunately for him, he will reportedly be snubbed by the Poles for his lack of international experience.

"The most important criterion was whether he had previously led a national team.” Being told ‘you don’t have enough experience’ is an excuse everybody has been told at some point in their lives.
It is a frustrating Catch-22 most people, particularly in their younger years, find themselves in at some point. Gerrard appears to find himself in that exact situation, having never managed at international level before.

"Any Polish coach who has been sacked or resigned recently would be better than Gerrard,” the Pole recently said. "He doesn't really know anything about the Polish national team.
