Liverpool fans spot Jurgen Klopp’s reaction to Trent Alexander-Arnold vs Leipzig
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was visibly delighted with his side's performance against RB Leipzig on Tuesday night.
The Reds coach could be seen on the touchline barking instructions to his players, and at one point celebrated an interception like a goal.
Klopp urged his players to continue with a high press in order to contain Leipzig in their own half.
And Trent Alexander-Arnold took that advice to heart as he sprinted forward on one occasion and leapt into the air in order to intercept a ball played out wide.
Despite the ball going out for a Leipzig throw in, Klopp was seen on the sideline pumping his fists as if the right-back had slammed a goal into the top corner.
Liverpool fans loved Klopp's burst of passion, especially considering the difficult period the Reds boss has been through.
One wrote on Reddit: "Klopp was on fire last night. Loved listening to him."
Another wrote: "That was the loudest I've heard Jurgen since no fans in the ground started. Willed us to the victory from the touchline."
"Noticed this during the game. Love that he has so much passion for little moments like this. The players must really feel the support," one commented.
Alexander-Arnold has faced criticism at times this season after some lacklustre performances, but he will be hoping his strong display against Leipzig will give him a platform to build on.
Liverpool take a 2-0 lead into the second leg and crucially go into the Merseyside Derby this weekend with a win under their belt.

And speaking after the Leipzig game, Klopp heaped praise on his players for their attitude.
He said: "I know Leipzig pretty well and I know how dominant they can be football-wise, how overwhelming they can be in a game from a physical point of view.
"That’s what we had to deal with tonight and the boys played a really good game – a really good game. We had a day less to prepare, which we have spoken a lot about, it’s a tricky thing."
