England Euro 2022 hero Lucy Bronze donned huge ski goggles to hide her ‘hangover eyes’ after the Lionesses partied until 4am.

The Lionesses celebrated late into the night after beating Germany 2-1 in Sunday’s Euros final at Wembley. Their extra-time win brought home a first major trophy since the 1966 World Cup.

Wild celebrations followed as England’s heroes necked beers in the dressing room and partied outside the Lensbury Resort, where they had been staying over the duration of the tournament. And the effects of their well-deserved night of partying were there for all to see during Monday’s victory parade.

Thousands visited Trafalgar Square in London to celebrate the triumph as their winners stood on stage. The camera at one point panned to right-back Bronze, 30, who was seen wearing hilariously large skiing goggles.

While the other Lionesses stood wearing standard shades, the new Barcelona signing’s choice of eyewear attracted attention from fans online, who suggested she may have been feeling the effects of the previous night.

One Twitter user wrote: “Lucy Bronze in Trafalgar Square hiding what is clearly a massive hangover behind SKIING GOGGLES is the greatest ever mood.”

Another fan commented: “Gotta love the ski goggles on @LucyBronze what a lad. Bet there’s some proper deserved bleary eyes in that team!”

A third added: “Lucy Bronze, tanked, on stage in Trafalgar Square in what looks like a ski mask singing Martine McCutcheon’s Perfect Moment to Jill Scott. EPIC.”

It came as Bronze was interviewed alongside midfielder Scott, where she further endeared herself to fans.

Asked how she was feeling, Bronze said: “On top of the world. On top of Europe. Another trophy but the best one by far. But there’s still one more we can get our hands on next year."

When quizzed on what makes the current team so special, she replied “Jill Scott,” before bursting into laughter and serenading her teammate with ‘Perfect Moment’.
