Leeds vs Southampton LIVE: Team news, line-ups and more ahead of Premier League fixture tonight

Marcelo Bielsa’s inconsistent Leeds United team welcome a faltering Southampton fc side to Elland Road in the Premier League this evening.

The hosts are looking to bounce back from two straight losses in the top flight, having been beaten 1-0 by Wolves last time out after a 4-2 defeat by Arsenal. Both of those results came on the road and – though Bielsa’s players will have no fans to roar them on – Leeds will hope to reverse their fortunes now that they are back on home turf. Southampton, meanwhile, recorded an encouraging 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea in their last outing to snap a club-record six-game losing streak in the Premier League. A 9-0 demolition by Manchester United came within that dismal run of results, and Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men will be keen to record their first win in the division since 4 January – when they beat champions Liverpool – to finally put that loss behind them.

Leeds enter tonight’s fixture in 12th place in the Premier League on 32 points, and 14th-placed Southampton – who have 30 points – could leapfrog their opponents with a victory this evening. Follow live updates from Leeds vs Southampton in the Premier League below.
