KSI wiped out by brutal slide tackle in Sidemen FC vs YouTube All Stars match

KSI won't be all that used to getting knocked off his feet, what with his burgeoning boxing career and all, but it took just 17 seconds for him to get wiped out in Saturday's charity match between Sidemen FC and a YouTube all stars team.

American vlogger Speed scythed KSI to the ground with a savage slide tackle, sparking one heck of fiery reaction from the sold-out crowd inside Charlton Athletic's stadium, The Valley.

KSI, one of the co-founders of the Sidemen group, took it well and quickly picked himself up from the turf, despite Speed making the most of the moment by giddily bouncing up and down next to him and first-pumping the air.

"Now that's what you call a proper Brexit tackle," one fan wrote on Twitter in response to the challenge.

"KSI never been hit like that his entire boxing career," another tweeted, while a third commented: "Whoever let Speed onto that pitch is an absolute menace!"

Sidemen FC eventually ran out 8-7 winners, with Miniminter bagging a dramatic late winner to seal a sensational hattrick. As for their opponents, Chunkz and Yung Filly both hit stunning screamers, but their efforts were in vain as the Sidemen retained their title.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, which reportedly raised over £1million for the Charlton Athletic Community Trust and Young Minds charity, KSI said: "[The atmosphere was] incredible, 27,000 people screaming, shouting, raring to go, everyone's buzzing.

"10 years ago we were in our bedrooms playing FIFA pretending to be our favourite footballers. I didn't expect to ever be on a pitch, or to be able to do boxing or music or whatever I'm doing. I didn't expect any of this."
