Kompany tipped to win ‘Royal Rumble of Prem managers’ – with Hodgson out first

Admit it, you've thought about it, who would win in a WWE-style Royal Rumble involving, exclusively, Premier League managers?

So, who's the favourite? Burnley's Vincent Kompany and Luton Town boss Rob Edwards, both set to take charge of their first Premier League fixture next weekend, are the bookies' favourites – coming in at 7/1.

SportsLens head of news, Lee Astley, said: “Vincent Kompany was well known for being a hard man in his playing days and having only retired in the last few years will surely be a force to be reckoned with.

"Sean Dyche is another manager who wouldn’t look out of place in a wrestling ring and I reckon he would fancy his chances of being the last man standing.

Tactics and triangles won't work in the squared circle for Man City supremo Pep Guardiola, his former protege turned Arsenal rival Mikel Arteta, and Manchester United's Erik ten Hag, who are all ranked at 25/1. While the towering Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp at 14/1 is somewhat of a favourite, with Everton manager Sean Dyche at 10/1.
