Juventus ‘want to bring Everton star Moise Kean back’ as Ronaldo replacement
Juventus are reportedly keen on taking Everton star Moise Kean back to Turin as they prepare for Cristiano Ronaldo's exit.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been linked with a late move to Manchester City, with personal terms reportedly agreed.
A departure would leave Juventus short up front, but boss Max Allegri is believed to be working on a possible replacement.
Kean came through the Juventus academy before joining Everton in 2019 for a fee of €27.5 million though could head back to Turin, initially on loan.
Italian news outlet SportItalia claim the Toffees have given Kean the green light to return to Juventus.
They add the two clubs are ready to agree a loan fee, which will include an obligation to buy in the deal.
The outright fee to buy is said to be around £21million, with Allegri a fan of the 21-year-old striker.
Kean has struggled at Goodison Park, though spent last season on loan at Ligue 1 giants PSG, where he scored 13 league goals.
Kean was sent off in Everton's Carabao Cup clash against Huddersfield this week with boss Rafael Benitez warning the Italian.
Benitez said: “The sending off of Moise Kean changed everything, our approach and we had to adjust to too many things. I didn’t see the first part of the incident, I saw when they were pushing each other so I cannot say.
“I think it’s still in many ways a mistake, we cannot lose our temper but he’s a young player, hopefully he can learn from that. But the reaction of the team was very good.
“I liked the second goal and the way things finished for us. The character, the dedication, the commitment of the players was great and I think that’s what the fans were expecting from this team.”
Juventus have also reportedly been offered Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Sassuolo's Gianluca Scamacca are also believed to be on their wish-list.
