Juventus’ Moise Kean given red card for kicking out 40 seconds after coming on

Juventus' Moise Kean was sent off after just 40 seconds on Sunday evening as Juventus squared off with Roma.

Jose Mourinho's side broke the deadlock just after half-time – through Gianluca Mancini – and Massimiliano Allegri looked to his bench for one last roll of the dice. Kean was sent on to try and rescue a point, but less than a minute later, he exited the pitch.

Mancini and Kean had been battling down the left wing when they both went dragged each other to the floor. However, as they got back to their feet, Kean kicked out at Mancini, seeing him earn his marching orders.

One fan fumed: "How did he become a footballer!?"

"This is embarrassing, silly to kick out but the lads about 5 seconds delayed falling down," a second said. Others also noticed the time it took Mancini to hit the ground: "The delayed fall he had to remember he played for a Mourinho team then decided to add some s***housery!"

And a fourth said: "Tears at the Roma player falling down years after he got the kick."
