Juventus are reportedly ‘eager’ to finalise a deal to extend Paulo Dybala’s contract following the return of boss Massimiliano Allegri.
Allegri is a huge admirer of the Argentine attacker and his timely return has seen the future of Dybala come into sharp focus.
Dybala, 27, is in the final 12 months of his deal in Turin and Calcio Mercato report that a renewal is now a key objective behind the scenes given Allegri is keen to make him central to his plans for the forthcoming season.

Dybala was named the Most Valuable Player in Serie A at the end of the 2019-20 season under Maurizio Sarri.
But bouts of Covid as well as struggling with injuries during 2020-21 hampered his game as Pirlo’s men finished fourth, scraping a Champions League spot.
Talks have been ongoing for months but there has appeared to be very little progress made towards a resolution.

Allegri’s return could well speed up the process with the 53-year-old reportedly ready to make Dybala a central piece in his puzzle for a second spell in charge.
Dybala was given a rousing reception at the club’s Continassa training ground on Wednesday as he was pictured arriving for pre-season training.
Players, including Dybala, Arthur Melo and Weston McKennie, arrived for their annual medical checks while others, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci and Alvaro Morata, will join up after they complete a period of holiday.
Many in Juventus’ squad were busy competing deep into the European Championships, which Italy won against England on penalties at Wembley.
