Juve confirmed the 30-year-old’s departure in a statement on their website.
The club said: ‘Douglas Costa has officially signed for Gremio on a free loan from Juventus.

The winger has had a frustrating few years at both Juve and Bayern.
Costa’s most prolific season at the Italian club came in 2017-2018, when he managed four goals and 12 assists.
He only netted once in each of the following seasons with six assists across both campaigns.
The winger managed three starts in the Bundesliga this term with one goal and one assist but has spent the last four-and-a-half months on the sidelines with a foot injury.
