Jose Mourinho has been slammed as ‘unpleasant’ and ‘inappropriate’ by an Italian media company after the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss snapped at a journalist. Mourinho, who is now in charge of Roma, called Ratesport reporter ‘not intelligent at all’ in a fresh outburst at the media.
The iconic Portuguese coach snapped at Norwegian journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft in a broadcast interview after his Roma side drew with Norwegian minnows Bodo/Glimt in the Europa Conference League last week.
And he has now taken aim at Juric, who works for Sky Sport Italia, Gianluca Di Marzio’s website and Italian radio channel Retesport.
Mourinho, who has been his usual controversial self in Rome, shot back at the journalist ahead of Roma’s Serie A trip to Venezia.
Juric asked: “It’s been six months since you signed for Roma, would you change anything that you’ve done in terms of choices, statements, requests or anything that you’ve done?”

But Mourinho was unhappy with the question. He snapped back: “You are here in practically every press conference, but either you are very intelligent and you want people to think you are not or you are not intelligent at all.
“I want to think you’re intelligent but you like to do what you do.”
The 58-year-old then rose from his seat and departed the media room without fielding further questions.
And Juric’s employer, Retesport, have now sensationally pledged to boycott Mourinho’s press conferences until further notice.
A statement, published by Roma news website Giallorossi.net, said: “Retesport, in expressing solidarity with Marco Juric regarding the unpleasant and inappropriate response received from Mr Jose Mourinho in the press room last Saturday, have decided to suspend its participation in press conferences in order to avoid further exploitation of questions posed in a polite and completely legitimate manner.
“We wish the Giallorossi coach to work harder and harder in raising the fortunes of the team and to focus his attention on possible technical solutions, avoiding spectacular outbursts that, at this moment, we consider completely inappropriate. Always Forza Roma.”
Mourinho has endured a challenging time in his half-year in the Italian capital. He saw his side smashed 6-1 by Bodo/Glimt in Europe before being held to a draw at home.
Roma trail the Eliteserien champions in their Conference League group.
The Giallorossi are sixth in Serie A after losing five of their 12 matches. Tammy Abraham, Mourinho’s £34million summer signing from Chelsea, has at least fared well.

The England forward has struck five times for his new club after being pushed aside by Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho has not won a league title since helping the Blues to the Premier League in 2014-15.
His spell at Tottenham was the first time he had failed to win a trophy with a club since his spell at Portuguese side Leiria.
Mourinho fumed at the referee in last week’s draw with Bodo/Glimt. He felt his side should have had at least a couple of penalties.
Asked by Norwegian reporter Fjortoft about the official, the former Real Madrid coach struck back: “Did you watch the game?”
He later raged in his press conference: “The reality of the game is 2-2, but the two penalties were clear as day. Clear as day.
“You can talk about whatever you want, but the reality is 2-2, they had two shots on target and two goals. We scored two goals and had two clear penalties denied.
“I don’t know if they get referees who are poor and starting their careers for the Conference League. I didn’t say anything about the referee in Norway, because we lost 6-1, but here the two penalties were clear.”
