Jose Mourinho branded ‘cold’ for gift to journalist after Roma beat Feyenoord
Jose Mourinho has been branded “ice cold” for his savage gesture after Roma knocked Feyenoord out of the Europa League.
Roma secured their place in the competition's last-four on Thursday night, coming back from a 1-0 defeat in the first leg to clinch a thrilling 4-1 victory at the Stadio Olimpico. Leonardo Spinazzola levelled the aggregate score on the hour mark but Igor Paixao put the visitors ahead again 20 minutes later.
Yet late drama saw super-sub Paulo Dybala rescue the Italian side in the 89th minute, taking the game to extra-time before Stephan El Shaarawy and Lorenzo Pellegrini put the game out of sight. Mourinho celebrated passionately, rousing the crowd before the final whistle had even been blown.

And he followed up his vintage display with a stunning bit of s***housery after the game.
The legendary Portuguese manager couldn’t resist rubbing salt in the Dutch side’s wounds during his post-match press conference.
He hilariously handed a Dutch journalist a key chain with the Europa Conference League trophy on it, referencing Roma’s win over Feyenoord in the final of the competition last season.

Mourinho could be heard saying: “Beautiful eh?” as he passed on his gift, leaving fans on social media gushing over ‘the Special One’s’ savage antics.
One Twitter user wrote: ““His s***housery will never ever be matched! Legend.”
Another tweeted: “This guy is so cold,” while a third added: “Ice COLD.”
A fourth commented: “He’s petty af and I love him for it.”
Mourinho’s brutal mocking comes a week after he trolled the same journalist. Following Roma’s 1-0 first leg defeat, the ex-Chelsea manager got into an amusing verbal exchange with the Dutch reporter.
The reporter had brought up the subject of last year’s final, prompting the 60-year-old head coach to fire back with a cheeky response.
“For the past 10 months you were crying. (Laughs). But you shouldn't cry,” Mourinho said.
“You know why, you cannot win the match that you lost. You lost a game, you cannot win that one. The only problem today, is that it is half-time. I promise you if I lose, I sleep, I don't cry. And I will not go without sleeping for 10 months having nightmares.”
Roma and Mourinho will face Bayer Leverkusen in the semi-finals of the competition as they look to make it two European trophies in two seasons.
