Jorginho’s agent has revealed he has received ‘inquiries’ about the Chelsea midfielder from some of Europe’s top teams. The 29-year-old has attracted interest after helping Chelsea to the club’s second Champions League success last month.
With the summer transfer window in full flow, clubs won’t complete most deals for Europe’s best players until after Euro 2020.
This year’s European Championship will conclude with the final on July 11, around one month before the 2021/22 season commences.
Jorginho has played a significant role in Italy’s blistering start in Group A, with Gli Azzurri thumping both Turkey and Switzerland 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
The former Napoli star played 90 minutes in both matches, which will have raised his stock following impressive exploits at club level under Thomas Tuchel.

Speaking to Italian outlet Radio Marte, Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos revealed that the midfielder is the subject of interest from ‘main teams’ around Europe.
He said: “Jorginho is very well, he has won the Europa League and the Champions League, and now the goal is to win the Euros.
“He is focused on this and wants to play all the remaining seven games of the European Championship.
“Obviously, he won the #UCL, and therefore there are inquiries from the main teams in Europe.

With the 2022 World Cup in Qatar coming up next winter, Jorginho will be one of many players considering game time when contemplating their futures.
Despite suitors elsewhere, Santos has assured Chelsea fans that he believes Jorginho will remain at Stamford Bridge for the 2021/22 season with that in mind.
“In my opinion he’ll stay at #Chelsea next year,” Santos suggested.
“The next goal is to make the World Cup in Qatar with Italy – by staying at Chelsea he’s great chances to do so.”
Jorginho featured in 17 of Tuchel’s 19 Premier League games in charge of Chelsea this season.
He also played 90 minutes in all seven Champions League games he was available for on the way to the trophy, missing the second leg against Atletico Madrid through suspension.
Jorginho has undoubtedly split opinion at Stamford Bridge since his 2018 arrival – among both Chelsea and rival fans.
However, he has formed a resolute partnership alongside N’Golo Kante in the heart of the Blues’ midfield in Tuchel’s three-at-the-back system.
After splashing £50million to sign him three years ago, it’s unlikely Chelsea would allow Jorginho to leave for cheap this summer.
By the sounds of things, though, the Italian ace should be staying around in West London for a while longer.
