Is Burnley vs Aston Villa on TV tonight? Kick-off time, channel and how to watch Premier League fixture

Burnley welcome Aston Villa to Turf Moor in the Premier League this evening as the Clarets look to continue their remarkable uplift in form.

Having been left short in the transfer window and suffering a dire start to the season, Sean Dyche has one against reversed the club’s fortunes, with a 1-0 victory over champions Liverpool last week followed by a comfortable 3-0 victory over Fulham in the FA Cup as Jay Rodriguez scored for the first time since July last year.

That run of form has seen Burnley separate themselves from their relegation rivals, however, they face an almighty task against an Aston Villa side in tremendous form, who are now targeting a place in the top six. Dean Smith’s side did suffer a minor blip in recent weeks, losing three out of four games in all competitions, but those defeats came against Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City, and that poor run was put to bed with a 2-0 win over Newcastle last time out.

Ollie Watkins ended his goal drought in that victory and Villa’s new signings continue to impress, with Emiliano Martinez, Matty Cash and Bertrand Traore all continuing to flourish. The game will come too early for Morgan Sanson, who joins Villa for £15.5m from Marseille.
