  • Inter Miami have reportedly made an astonishing move for Cristiano Ronaldo
  • The future of Ronaldo at Manchester United has again been thrown into doubt
  • Owner David Beckham has spoken the Portuguese forward’s representatives
  • It is claimed that Ronaldo would be keen on a move to the MLS outfit

David Beckham has reportedly made an astonishing move to sign Cristiano Ronaldo for Inter Miami.

Ronaldo has been embroiled in significant drama over the past week after the release of his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan on TalkTV.

Within the highly controversial interview, Ronaldo slammed the current state of Manchester United, along with heavily criticising manager Erik ten Hag and former teammates including Gary Neville – meaning that his time at Old Trafford is surely coming to an end.

And now, Inter Miami owner Beckham has spoken to the Portuguese superstar’s representatives over a move to his MLS outfit, according to The Sun.

David Beckham has reportedly made a shock move to sign Cristiano Ronaldo for Inter Miami

Ronaldo is desperate to leave Man United and it is claimed he would be keen on the move

The report states that Beckham received a positive response with Ronaldo interested in a move to Miami.

It has previously been reported that Ronaldo’s great rival – Lionel Messi, is Beckham’s No 1 target for his MLS franchise, but the possible availability of the United forward has alerted Beckham.

Ronaldo is reportedly also attracting interest from Inter Miami’s fellow MLS clubs LA Galaxy and LAFC.

As he continues to attempt to find a way out of Manchester, Inter Miami could be seen as an intriguing option for Ronaldo.

Inter Miami are coached by Phil Neville, brother of Gary – who Ronaldo savaged in his now infamous interview with Piers Morgan

Inter Miami are also still interested in a move for Ronaldo’s long-time rival, Lionel Messi

Ironically, if he were to join, he would work under Phil Neville – brother of Gary – who was one of the former teammates that Ronaldo heavily slammed in his interview.

With former Inter Miami forward Gonzalo Higuian’s retirement at the end of the MLS season in October, there is a gap in the team’s squad, meaning a move would make sense.

Beckham also remains keen on signing Messi, who has been strongly linked with a move to his side.

However, the former England skipper would take the chance to sign Ronaldo, with the forward likely become the top earner in the MLS.

Bosses of the American league would also be delighted with the move as the profile of the sport continues to rise in the nation ahead of the 2026 World Cup, and the new TV deal signed with Apple that starts from the beginning of next season.
