Injury scare for France as substitute Ousmane Dembele is forced off holding his leg after just a 29-minute cameo in world champions’ Euro 2020 draw with Hungary

Ousmane Dembele is an injury concern for France after the forward went off injured just 29 minutes after coming on a substitute during their 1-1 draw with Hungary.
The 24-year-old came on for Adrien Rabiot in the 57th minute but hobbled off with an injury and was replaced by Thomas Lemar shortly before full time.
Dembele almost made an immediate impact after the Barcelona forward hit the post following a mazy run, with Hungary goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi well beaten.

It remains to be seen if the Barca forward who has a history of injury problems over the last few seasons, will be available for France’s final group game against Portugal on Wednesday.
The draw with the Hungary leaves the French top of group F, however Germany will host Portugal at the Allianz Arena later this evening.
Hungary took the lead through Attila Fiola on the stroke of half time, but Antoine Griezmann equalised for Didier Deschamps’ side.
In Dembele’s first three seasons at the Nou Camp he only made 75 appearances largely due to to persistent and niggling injuries.
However, last season he scored 11 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions and earned his first recall to the French squad since 2018.
