The Gunners are currently six points ahead of Manchester City as they chase a first league title since 2004.
Arsenal forfeited a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Liverpool at Anfield last time out and return to action on Sunday against relegation-battlers West Ham.
While Arsenal are top, the title is effectively in Manchester City’s hands as they will leapfrog the Gunners if they win their game in hand and beat Mikel Arteta’s side at the Etihad Stadium later in the month.
Arsenal legend Wright admits it will be ‘tough’ for his former club to beat Manchester City to the Premier League title and says he has his eye on four upcoming fixtures.
While the Gunners face West Ham and Southampton next, Wright believes Arsenal’s following four games – against Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Brighton – will be crucial to the title race.
Speaking on The Kelly and Wrighty Show, he said: ‘Winning the Premier League title is no cakewalk, is it?

‘It’s going to be tough – this is the stage of the season where the pressure ramps up. We expect Man City to find their best form but no game is easy because almost every team is still playing for something.
‘Arsenal have got to get through this period if they want to win the title – but it’s not going to be easy.
‘Playing Man City will be really tough and they will cause problems but I’m also looking at the Chelsea, Newcastle and Brighton games. Those are the games for me.
‘Arsenal need to go into all of those games with belief because that’s what it’s going to take. Can you see Man City lose any games? I’m not sure. I find it very difficult to see Man City dropping any points.’
While Arsenal are bidding to win the Premier League for the first time in almost two decades, Manchester City could clinch a fifth title in six seasons.
Giving his take on title race, Manchester United legend Gary Neville told Sky Sports: ‘I have thought all the way through that Man City would just edge it.
‘I haven’t changed my opinion after today or even altered it slightly because I still think there will be points dropped from each side, but I think Arsenal will drop more points.’
