Ian Wright hits out at Solskjaer for shunning five Man Utd players
Ian Wright has hit out at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after effectively marginalising five players at Manchester United during his tenure.
The Red Devils are under serious scrutiny after a 5-0 humbling from rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford with Solskjaer clinging to his job.
There have already been reports that Antonio Conte is being sounded out to replace the Norweigan, who insisted he is going nowhere.
And while the pressure has cranked up at United, Arsenal legend Wright has launched an astonishing rant over his stewardship.
The Match of the Day pundit cannot believe the way in which Solskjaer has treated Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly, Donny van de Beek and Jadon Sancho.
Speaking on the Ringer FC podcast, Wright said: "I’m hearing that Harry Maguire’s not fit enough right now but he’s still playing when you’ve got Eric Bailly there.
"You’ve got Donny van de Beek. Jadon Sancho cost £70m [£73m].
"I know he maybe wasn’t fit at the start of the season but that guy has been brought in to create chances and to play on the right-hand side, which doesn’t work anywhere near as effectively as the left.
"But he can’t get a game. Paul Pogba is still the highest assister in the Premier League, he can’t get a game.
"So you think to yourself, “what the hell is going on and how long can this continue?”

"Jesse Lingard! How’s Jesse Lingard had a season like he had at West Ham and come back and now can’t get into that Manchester United team?
"He’s one of the best pressers you will see, the man’s killing it for England and killing it for West Ham. Come on man!"
United face Tottenham next in the Premier League with Solskjaer in desperate need of a win.
However, as revealed exclusively by Daily Star Sport, the Red Devils are losing interest in Conte.
In brighter news for the Red Devils, star man Cristiano Ronaldo is expecting twins with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
He will become a dad for the sixth time, and it will be the second time he has had twins.
