Hugo Lloris is the latest player to come under fire by Spurs fans after their embarrassing defeat to Arsenal in the North London derby.

Spurs' trip to the Emirates didn't go to plan as Arsenal dismantled the side emphatically, and thanks to a straight red card for Emerson Royal, the Gunners dominated their rivals. Thanks to goals from Thomas Partey, Gabriel Jesus and Granit Xhaka Spurs were brushed aside by their neighbours, and some fans heaped a large portion of the blame onto their captain.

Fans took to Twitter to share their frustrations with the French international as the side slumped in the second half after going in at the break on even terms when Harry Kane cancelled out Partey's opening goal from the spot. Sharing their thoughts on the 35-year-old, fans labelled the appearance as a "disasterclass".

As Arsenal took the lead again through Jesus, it was thanks to Lloris that the ball fell to the Brazilian's feet when he spilt the ball into the striker's path in the six-yard box after a shot from Saka after he cut inside from the right.

One fan simply tweeted: "Hugo Lloris disasterclass."

And a third tweeted: "Lloris again in big game. I'm tired of his individual errors."
