Fans across the country were invited to meet with managers and players from various EFL clubs on Tuesday as a part of the official launch for the 2021-2022 season.
The new season – which will host full crowds for the first time since March 2020 – is set to get underway this weekend as Bournemouth take on West Bromwich Albion on Friday in the Sky Bet Championship.
In celebration of the new season, fans were invited to meet Oxford United Manager Karl Robinson, Sheffield United Captain Billy Sharp, Reading Manager Veljko Paunovic and more.
Fans across the country were invited to meet with managers and players from various EFL clubs on Tuesday as a part of the official launch of the 2021-2022 season

The Oxford United Manager was seen welcoming fans who have been working for the NHS during the pandemic.
While the Sheffield United Captain was present to meet with the Rainbow Blades and Senior Blades supporters groups.
Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne and Captain Richard Wood were also invited to meet with fans from their Disabled Supporters’ Association.
The event, which took place across the country, also saw Ipswich Town Manager Paul Cook and CEO Mark Ashton surprising a young fan who has Crohn’s disease.
While Rochdale’s manager Robbie Stockdale and captain Eoghan O’Connell were seen meeting with fans from the likes of Military Veterans, Walking Footballers, Fit Dale and Dale Ladies.

Speaking of the event, Trevor Birch, CEO of the EFL commented: ‘It is fantastic to see our clubs welcoming a number of their fans back to their stadiums and training grounds today as part of the EFL’s Season Launch.
‘In only a few days’ time thousands of supporters will be going through the turnstiles at EFL grounds across the country as we embark on what’s set to be another exhilarating, unpredictable and compelling EFL campaign.
‘Supporters are what make our game special and nothing can replace that matchday experience that will be back in all its glory this weekend.
‘Football has unique ability to connect communities, bring people together and it will be a memorable day as we welcome fans back safely nationwide.’
