Eden Hazard ‘is offered an escape route from his Real Madrid nightmare with Fenerbahce interested in a loan deal’ – and Los Blancos ‘would welcome’ £150m flop’s exit… ‘but will leave the final decision to the player’

  • Eden Hazard continues to struggle at Real Madrid since his £150m move in 2019
  • He has reportedly been offered the chance to join Fenerbahce on a loan deal
  • The Turkish giants are willing to cover a large part of his salary to seal the move
  • However, Hazard is not reportedly keen and Real don’t plan to force him to leave

Eden Hazard has been offered a chance to resurrect his career by Turkish giants Fenerbahce, according to reports.

The former Chelsea star has endured a dismal spell with Real Madrid since his £150m move to the Spanish giants in 2019.

Having excelled over a seven-year-spell at Stamford Bridge, he has scored just seven goals for Los Blancos and regularly struggled for fitness.

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are interested in making a move for Real Madrid flop Eden Hazard

And, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Fenerbahce are keen to take Hazard on a loan deal.

The report states the 19-time Turkish champions are willing to take on a large part of the forward’s salary and Real Madrid are open to his departure.

Fenerbache have contacted the LaLiga champions about the loan deal and would be willing to pay €5m (£4.4m) of the €6m (£5.3m) salary he currently receives.

However, Hazard is not reportedly keen on making the move to Turkey and Real are willing to allow him to decide on his future rather than forcing him out.

Although if his situation at the Bernabeu doesn’t improve, the opportunity to relaunch his faltering career with Fenerbahce could be an ideal solution for Hazard.

Things got even worse on Wednesday night for the 31-year-old as he was hauled off after just 67 minutes in Real’s 1-0 win over fourth tier side Cacereno in the Copa del Rey after failing to impress.

He was then slammed for his performance by Cacereno player Carmelo Mereciano who played in the clash.

‘Hazard? It was like he didn’t care about the game,’ he told Spanish outlet Diario AS.

‘He didn’t want to take the ball, he didn’t run. He was totally unnoticed.’

Including last night, Hazard has made just three starts for the club in all competitions this season as he continues to toil at the Bernabeu following Belgium’s embarrassing group stage exit at the World Cup – where he was captain of his nation.
