Harry Kane has told former Manchester United star and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville that his Tottenham future is entirely down to him.
The English superstar has – repeatably – been linked away from Spurs this season, and Manchester United and Manchester City appear to be front of the queue for Kane's signature.
Kane took a solo lap of honour around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday evening – following Spurs' clash with Aston Villa, in which Villa ran out victors.
It followed reports he had asked to leave the club.
The lap of honour sent rumours of his departure into overdrive, and Kane has now revealed to Neville that it is solely his decision.
"With Tottenham rebuilding and you just said it yourself up there. They are in a little bit of a transition.
"Is that crossroad moments coming for you?" Neville asked Kane on The Overlap.
"I think so. I think it’s definitely a conversation to be had with the club," Kane responded.
"Yeah, like you say, I want to be playing in the biggest games. The biggest moments… I hope that we can have that conversation.
"I’m sure that [Daniel Levy] will want to set out the plan of where he sees it but ultimately it’s going to be down to me and how I feel and what’s going to be the best for me and my career this moment in time."
Kane also confirmed that trophies won't be a major factor in his decision, as he still feels like he has a career ahead of him.
The Englishman is reportedly on the market for around £150million, but Spurs boss, Ryan Mason, has rebuffed any claims his star man is leaving in the summer.
