Harry Kane features prominently in Tottenham's kit launch

Is this Daniel Levy’s hands-off warning on Harry Kane? Tottenham place their £100m superstar front and centre of their new kit launch, as Real Madrid and Man United fight to sign him this summer

  • Kane featured heavily in their campaign despite being linked with a departure
  • The England captain is wanted by Man United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has been pictured in Tottenham’s new home kit for the 2023-24 campaign despite being linked with a potential departure from the club.

Spurs unveiled their new kit to the press at an event in London on Wednesday afternoon and shared several images on their social media accounts.

However, the official launch of the 2023-24 strip took place this morning, with Kane featuring heavily in the campaign.

The England captain was seen front and centre in the video Tottenham posted to their official Twitter account.

The camera focused on Kane, getting close ups of the striker before flicking to the likes of Son and Richarlison.

Tottenham fans will be pleased to see Kane featuring in the kit launch given he has been linked with a move to Manchester United, Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.

However, Spurs did a similar thing in 2013 with Gareth Bale – plastering his face on a billboard in Times Squad before he left the club.

Bale signed a six-year deal contract worth £85.3million (€100m) with Real Madrid shortly after the billboard was revealed.

Therefore, Kane’s involvement in the latest photoshoot can not be taken as confirmation he will stay at the club this summer.

The England captain could be lured away from Spurs during the transfer window as he looks to get his hands on some silverware.

Erik ten Hag is looking to sign a striker during the summer transfer window and identified Kane as a primary target.

The Dutch manager thinks Kane will be a good addition to the United squad given the fact he scored 30 Premier League goals for Spurs in the 2022-23 season.

United is Kane’s most likely destination given he is looking to stay in the Premier League and chase down Alan Shearer’s goal scoring record of 260.

United is also viewed as Kane’s only likely option in the English top-flight this summer as champions Man City and Liverpool not in the market for a forward.

Kane has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid – with the LaLiga giants reportedly reserving their No 9 shirt for the England captain.

Real are in need of a new striker given Karim Benzema will be departing the Bernabeu to play in Saudi Arabia this summer.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti and the hierarchy admire Kane and they believe they’ll get three or four seasons of top class performances from him.

Real also feel they have leverage with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, who doesn’t want to sell Kane to a Premier League rival like United.

Bayern are also interested in signing Kane this summer. But, the Bundesliga Champions have alternatives on their shortlist for attacking options just incase.
