Graham Potter says he has ‘nothing to apologise for’ after boos in Brighton loss
Graham Potter has insisted that he has nothing to apologise for after being booed by fans during Chelsea's 4-1 capitulation against former club Brighton on Saturday (October 29).
Home fans wasted no time in taking aim at their departed ex-manager who was replaced by Roberto De Zerbi last month, sending boos in his direction before chants of 'you're getting sacked in the morning' after the game begun.
Having talked frankly regarding his side's 4-1 defeat after full-time, Potter was asked about his reception from Brighton supporters.

When asked about boos from those who used to cheer his name, Potter said: "I have nothing to apologise or say sorry for.
"I think I did a good job at the club and left it in a good place but people are entitled to their opinions.
"It's part of the process. You have to suffer and feel pain in order to grow and get better. Nobody said we were the finished article. We have to take the pain today and learn from it."

On the flip side, Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi hailed the influence of the Amex faithful as he secured a first win as Seagulls boss.
He said: "I am very happy for the players, for the club and the people working with our team and these great fans. They were the best player on the pitch.
"They helped us a lot and I am very happy."
In the fixture, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah both scored own-goals after Leandro Trossard's opener.
After Kai Havertz got one back and Pascal Gross made it four, Brighton climbed up to eighth in the Premier League table following five without a win.
Chelsea remain fifth behind Newcastle, and just a point ahead of Manchester United who have a hame in hand.
