Gascoigne and Wright share emotional embrace – and then exchange cheeky jokes

England legends Paul Gascoigne and Ian Wright enjoyed an emotional reunion in London on Wednesday – and Gazza couldn't resist poking fun at his old pal.

Wright, who is in the capital this week to launch his new book, crossed paths with his former Three Lions team-mate at a Classic Shirts exhibition.

The Arsenal hero shared a clip on Twitter of their embrace, with Gazza approaching his old pal and saying: "Wheyyyy, how are ya?

"F****ng hell, you alright?"

The pair then share a warm hug in a brilliant piece of footage which has received over 15,000 likes on the social-media platform.

It didn't take long for Gazza to start winding up Wright, with another clip showing him jokingly chanting: "Ian S***e, S***e, S***e!"

The England icon also quipped: "I scored my penalty at Euro 96 and ended up in rehab.

"Gareth [Southgate] missed his and got the manager's job. I don’t get it."

Where do you rank Gazza amongst the greatest England players ever? Let us know in the comments section below.

Gazza and Wright played for England together from 1991-98, and the latter has previously revealed some hilarious stories about his ex-colleague.

After hearing he had been omitted from Glenn Hoddle's squad for the 1998 World Cup, a furious Gazza infamously trashed the England manager's hotel room – and Wright was due in to see him next.
