Cameroon face Gambia in the first quarter-final of the Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts had to come through a tricky last-16 tie against a plucky Comoros and face another unfancied side in the form of Tom Saintfiet’s outfit.
Gambia have already surpassed all expectations after reaching this stage in what is their first ever AFCON appearance. Eliminating Cameroon would represent one of the biggest shocks the competition has ever seen.

Massive underdogs Gambia make several changes from their narrow win against Guinea.
Sonko-Sundberg replaces Ngum at right-back, with Janko and Touray replacing midfielders Ablie Jallow and Darboe, Badamosi in up top for winger Modou Barrow.
Some interesting choices from the hosts and favourites.
They look to have named a back three, with Collins Fai at right wing-back and winger Ngamaleu at left wing-back with star forwards Karl Toko Ekambi and the tournament’s top scorer Vincent Aboubakar up top.
Their only change is Bayern forward Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting out for midfielder Samuel Oum Gouet. More on their tactics/formation to come.

Line-ups are imminent!
This afternoon it’s the first Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final, between Cameroon and Gambia.
The tournament so far has had plenty of thrills and spills and I don’t imagine that will change today as the competition hots up.
Looking forward to it? I know I am.
