Footage emerges of Diego Costa fight at Chelsea meal that left team in hysterics
Former Chelsea striker Diego Costa once took part in a hysterical lunchtime boxing bout against legendary physio Billy McCulloch to leave his fellow stars in stitches.
The 33-year-old was known for his ruthless nature in front of goal and physical style of play during his time at Stamford Bridge but made his name as a joker off the pitch.
McCulloch, on the other hand, is regularly talked about by players of a certain era at Chelsea, and he combined with Costa to the delight of players and staff back in 2014.
In a clip that captain John Terry says confirmed to him that Premier League glory would follow that season, Spain international Costa took part in a joke boxing bout with McCulloch.
The start of the minute-long clip shows Costa and Billy doing their best dancing and taunting after donning boxing gloves, with the physio wearing shorts and a dressing gown.
Catering staff can be seen in the background with Terry stood among several seated members of the playing squad, with laughter heard across the room.
As Billy starts to put his head down and jab Costa, the battle moves across the room before the striker put his opponent on the floor with a left-handed push to the delight of the spectators.
After getting back to his feet, Billy had nothing left in the tank, and ended up admitting defeat with a hug as the room applauded the show.

Terry's tweet reads: "Diego Costa vs Billy (AKA) Rocky. Preseason 2014/15. After this I knew we would win the league. What a legend. I'm crying watching this."
The former England skipper was then asked if Costa was the craziest player he played with, having won two Premier League titles and the League Cup together.
He said: "Genuinely a top guy. I loved him because he gave everything, every single day for our club. He cared and was an unbelievable player."
Physio Billy, who was spotted in Ben Chilwell's Instagram story from the Chelsea training ground last season, was once handed team-talk duties by Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho said after a clash against Manchester City: "I didn’t speak to the team – I am serious! It was Billy the masseur who spoke to them.
“He was screaming so much in his Scottish accent, going grrr, grrr, grrr, that I didn’t understand, but the players were clapping so they must have got it!
“The last time I spoke to them was at lunchtime. It was Billy’s team talk, I’m telling you. Billy was fantastic, I didn’t understand, but it looks like the players did.”
