Fans slam ‘disgraceful view’ from ‘cheap seats’ in Tottenham’s £1billion stadium
Tottenham's £1bn stadium has been labelled "disgraceful" after fan footage from last night's clash with AC Milan showed dozens 'watching' the action from behind a massive TV screen.
An anticlimactic bore draw confirmed a 1-0 aggregate defeat for Antonio Conte's side, as well as the club's third last-16 exit in their last four Champions League campaigns, but the real anti-climax of the evening happened up in the cheap seats before the match began.
Tottenham fans regularly boast about having 'the world's best stadium', but some supporters aren't even guaranteed a proper view of the pitch, as demonstrated by one disgruntled fan who shared a clip from his seat on social media.

"No wonder my ticket was cheap," the fan wrote, while panning from left-to-right, with the back one of the stadium's giant TV screen blocking out nearly half of the pitch.
Cheekily, the club had fitted a smaller TV screen into the back of the giant one so fans with view restrictions could get that priceless 'watching from your sofa' experience, only in a tiny, uncomfortable plastic seat in 25mph winds. State-of-the-art indeed.

"Look at the state of that view," one fan tweeted. Another wrote: "Absolute disgrace a billion quid stadium and you're watching the game on a telly."
Some supporters, however, claimed the fan had manipulated the view by standing up behind the final row of seats, but others pointed out that the club wouldn't have erected a conciliatory TV there if the view was acceptable.
In many ways the construction gaffe is a rather apt one. Regular visitors to Tottenham's old ground, White Hart Lane, will fondly (well, probably not) remember the two giant pillars standing between fans in the East Stand and the pitch for the last 10 years of its existence.
If obstructed views are a Tottenham tradition, then damn it, good on the club for sticking to it!
