England star Mason Mount has been mocked after wearing an oversized outfit to a film premiere. 

The Chelsea midfielder attended the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever European premiere in London on Thursday night. 

Mount was dressed in a white t-shirt, a large brown jacket with sleeves almost up to his knuckles and massive matching brown trousers billowing over his feet.

And supporters quickly took to social media to mock the England star for his bizarre get-up

One compared him to an infamous scene from popular TV Show, The Inbetweeners (above)

And fans quickly took to social media to question his get-up, comparing him to a child in baggy clothing on the first day of school and even Will from popular British TV show The Inbetweeners.

One joked: ‘Nice of his dad to let Mason borrow one of his suits.’

Another questioned: ‘Why’s he dressed like Tom Hanks in Big?’

A third tweeted: ‘Mummy says Mason will grow into them by the Summer Term,’ followed by a cry-laughing emoji.

Another fan joked he looked like a basketball star wearing a giant suit in the 2003 NBA draft

A different fan posted: ‘Me on the 1st day of Secondary school wearing my older brother’s school trousers that my mum says I’ll “grow into”.’

A fifth added: ‘Me going to my first wedding wearing my brothers suit,’ while one said: ‘congrats to him on being selected in the 2003 NBA draft,’ in reference to a picture of basketball stars wearing suits which are too big. 

Another said: ‘Same sort of vibes,’ above a picture of the Inbetweeners character Will, who infamously dressed in his dad’s clothes in a bid to buy alcohol from a corner shop while underage.

Mount, almost certain to be selected for Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the upcoming Qatar World Cup, could line up for the Blues against Premier League leaders Arsenal on Sunday.
