FA Cup quarter final draw ball numbers and TV channel

The FA Cup quarter final line-up is nearly complete, with six of the eight teams now confirmed.

Five of those sides are from the Premier League, with only one team from outside the top flight still in with a chance of reaching the last eight.

Manchester City are favourites to win this year's competition, followed by neighbours Manchester United, Chelsea – who play their fifth round match tonight, and Leicester City.

City cruised past Championship side Swansea City in the fifth round on Wednesday evening, while United needed extra time to beat West Ham.

Leicester left it late to beat Premier League rivals Brighton, while the tie of the fifth round was at Goodison Park where Everton edged out Tottenham in a 5-4 thriller.

What time is the FA Cup quarter final draw?

The draw is expected to take place between the final two fifth round ties being played on Thursday night – the 5.30pm kick-off between Wolves and Southampton, and Barnsley vs Chelsea which starts at 8pm.

The FA has said the draw will be held at 7.45pm, but only if Wolves vs Southampton finishes after 90 minutes.

If that tie does into extra time, the draw will be held after the match.

Coverage of the the draw will be shown on BT Sport 1 after Wolves vs Southampton.

The FA Cup's own YouTube, Facebook and Twitter accounts will also stream the draw, which will be presented by Reshmin Choudhury.

Karen Carney will be drawing all four ties.

When will the quarter finals be played?

The quarter final fixtures will be played over the weekend of March 20/21.
